01Windows
Hover or press any app in the Dock and its windows appear as live previews. Click one to bring it forward, or close, minimize, tile or quit it right there, without switching to the app first.
Close, minimize, hide, tile to a half or a quarter, go full screen or quit from the preview. Over 20 actions in all.
Minimize every window at once, bring them all to this display, relaunch a stuck app, or search its menu bar for any command.
Rest the pointer on a thumbnail to see that window full size before you pick it.

02Files
Press a pinned folder and its files fan out above it, ready to open. Drag a file onto the Dock and it waits on a shelf, next to your pinned folders and AirDrop, until you drag it where it needs to go.
Folders open as a list, with a preview when you hover a file. Switch to a grid or the accordion fan in Settings › Appearance, for every folder or just one.

Make a profile for each mode, with its own apps, folders and widgets, and switch between them from Control Center. Give each display its own Dock, or let AppSense switch for you when you focus an app.
Link a profile to an app and the Dock switches when that app comes forward, then switches back.

Click the yellow button or press Command-M and the window genies down into its app's icon in DockDoor Pro, not off to the hidden macOS Dock. Click the icon and it comes back out the same way. A first for a replacement Dock.

Icons swell on a spring and settle without a stutter, at your display's full refresh rate. Choose normal, wavy or bounce, then set the size and how far the wave reaches.

The Dock's Liquid Glass edge swells up under the pointer as the icons magnify. Turn it on with the Liquid Glass background on macOS Tahoe 26 and later, with Normal or Wavy magnification.

Yes. DockDoor Pro draws its own Dock and can hide the built-in one for you under Placement & Hiding. On macOS 27 and later, Hide Native Dock in Mission Control on the same page keeps it out of Mission Control and App Exposé too. On earlier versions, macOS may still show its own Dock there.
They're separate apps. DockDoor is free and open source, and adds window previews and Alt+Tab to the built-in macOS Dock. DockDoor Pro replaces the Dock with its own, with folders that fan out, a file tray, widgets, profiles, a Dock on every display and much more customization, plus its own window previews and switcher.
Usually not. Once Pro is your Dock, it covers what DockDoor Free does. Keep DockDoor Free if you'd rather stay on the built-in Dock.
Any Mac on macOS Sonoma 14.6 or later, Apple silicon or Intel. Liquid Glass needs macOS Tahoe 26; on earlier versions the Dock is frosted, solid or clear. It's a native app built with SwiftUI and AppKit, not Electron or a web view.

Yes, 48 hours with every feature. Download DockDoor Pro, open it, and press Start Free Trial on the Dock or in Settings › Setup. You don't need a key, an account or a card, and the 48 hours start when you press it, not when you download. Each Mac gets one trial. When it ends the Dock locks until you add a key, and your profiles and settings are still there.

DockDoor Pro needs Accessibility and Screen Recording permission, so a modified copy from anywhere else could record your screen or send your data somewhere. Your key is shown right after checkout, and you can look it up again on the key lookup page with the transaction ID from your receipt and the email you bought with. Bought on Gumroad? The key is in your Gumroad receipt. New keys need the latest build, so download it before pasting the key into Settings › About.
Yes. Run brew install --cask dockdoor-pro in Terminal, then open the app and start the free trial or paste your license key into Settings › About. Homebrew installs the same signed build as the direct download.
A license covers three Macs. Open the device portal, enter your key, and remove the Mac you no longer use. The slot frees up right away, and the Mac you removed deactivates within a day.
You have 14 days to request a refund. The money goes back to how you paid, which can take a few days depending on your bank.
